The Friends of High Borrans is a charity set up to enhance the range of opportunities available to people in North Tyneside and beyond through High Borrans Outdoor Education Centre.
The main FoHB project is the Young Leaders Award scheme which is a progressive annual programme aimed at helping North Tyneside secondary school students learn how to stand out from the crowd when moving on into the world of further education, apprenticeship or employment. The scheme challenges the young people to step out of their comfort zones, develop skills and experiences that employers are seeking, as well as having fun and forming new relationships.
